An Italian man of Sicilian origin was hit on the M2 subway line in Milan. T.T., a 46-year-old man from Marsala, worked in the international cooperation sector. The tragedy occurred just after 3 pm on April 1st, between the Cassina de’ Pecchi and Cascina Gobba stations. Despite the arrival of medical personnel, nothing could be done except to confirm the victim’s death. Investigators are considering all possibilities, as it is unclear whether it was an accident or a deliberate act. The fire department also arrived at the scene and evacuated about two hundred passengers. Now it is up to the investigators, who have collected all the necessary evidence at the scene, to understand the exact sequence of events.
