Marsala tourist critically injured by a car on the waterfront

A 76-year-old female tourist from Rovigo was severely injured after being hit by a car while crossing the road in Marsala, Italy. The incident occurred near the San Giovanni church on the Boeo waterfront. The woman’s condition was immediately deemed serious, and she was airlifted to the Trauma Center at Villa Sofia in Palermo. Police conducted investigations at the accident scene to determine the cause of the collision. This is the second recent incident involving a pedestrian being hit in Marsala, with a 57-year-old woman being previously injured near a supermarket.
