Stolen nearly 8 kilometers of electrical cables in the southern coast of Marsala, in the province of Trapani, resulting in an economic damage of about 150 thousand euros for the municipality. The stretch of provincial road, at the intersection with via Tripoli, up to the vicinity of the former Lido Pakeka, will remain without lighting due to the damage that occurred. “This ignoble act not only compromises the safety of citizens but also causes significant harm to the entire community – commented Mayor Massimo Grillo. We consider it unacceptable that some individuals jeopardize the collective well-being for their illicit gain. As always, we are determined to collaborate with the competent authorities to identify and prosecute those responsible for this crime and to adopt concrete measures to prevent similar episodes in the future. We reaffirm our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our citizens, as well as preserving public assets from vandalism and deterioration”.
