Marina Yachting opens dining city to the public in Palermo

Less than two months after the opening of Marina Yachting, Citysea, a real city of catering created by chef Natale Giunta, has opened at the Port of Palermo, with an extension of 2,500 square meters, on three floors, a rooftop, a sea view amphitheater, five cocktail bars, and a modern conference room. It is a place with two symbolic windows, one overlooking the sea and the other overlooking the city’s rooftops and domes. Citysea is not just a restaurant, but embraces many different formats: traditional and continental breakfast on the ground floor, which then offers fast and smart cuisine from 12 pm, and a pizzeria from 6 pm to midnight. On the first floor, a 500 square meter area focuses on a gourmet restaurant, steak house, and sushi bar. Outside on the rooftop, there is a terrace with exotic and ornamental plants, replicating all the services offered inside on the first floor. The fourth area is a sea view amphitheater equipped with large cushions to enjoy the sunset with a drink. The opening ceremony was attended by chef Giunta, the president of the Port Authority, Pasqualino Monti, and the mayor of Palermo, Roberto Lagalla, as well as other notable figures involved in the project. Giunta expressed gratitude for the support in transforming an abandoned area into a center of life and leisure. The company plans to make 35 new hires, bringing the total number of employees in Rome and Palermo to 170.
