Man throws a kilo of cocaine from car window, Palermo resident arrested in Trapani

The carabinieri of the Trapani company have arrested a 54-year-old man from Palermo accused of drug trafficking. During a roadblock near the Fulgatore motorway junction on the Palermo-Mazara del Vallo motorway, the man allegedly threw a bag out of the window which was later recovered by the military and found to contain one kilogram of cocaine. The arrest was validated and the judge in Trapani ordered pretrial detention in prison. Just two days ago, two men from Palermo were arrested with one kilogram of cocaine in their car in Misiliscemi, also in the Trapani area.
