Man in Palermo assaults officers while drunk after fight with girlfriend

A 31-year-old man in Palermo was caught driving drunk, speeding and without a seatbelt. When police tried to take his license, he reacted violently, hitting them and kicking their car. He was arrested and charged with damage, assault, violence and threats. In a similar incident in Licata, a drunk man also attacked police officers, insulting them and threatening them with death. He was charged with refusing to provide his details, violence and resistance to a public official, as well as serious threats. Both cases resulted in arrests and legal consequences for the perpetrators.
