Man in Misilmeri arrested for hiding a gun at home

The police in Misilmeri arrested a 33-year-old man found in possession of a modified gun. They also arrested a 56-year-old man from Belmonte Mezzagno who had escaped from home while on house arrest. 14 people were reported to the prefecture for drug use, with seizures of hashish, marijuana, and cocaine. Several people were also reported for illegal possession of weapons, with seizures of knuckle dusters, a baseball bat, a switchblade, and an iron bar. In addition, a unemployed man from Villabate was found in possession of 13 stolen copper cables and was reported.
