Man from Francofonte arrested for arms, theft, and drugs, sentenced to 5 years and 5 months
The Carabinieri of the Francofonte station arrested a 41-year-old man in execution of a measure issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Appeal of Catania. The man was found guilty of illegal possession of weapons, aggravated theft, and violation of drug regulations committed between 2016 and 2017 in Militello Val di Catania, Francofonte, and Melilli, and sentenced to 5 years, 5 months, and 21 days of imprisonment. After the formalities, the arrested man was taken to the Cavadonna prison in Siracusa, as ordered by the judicial authority.
