Magnitude 4.4 earthquake strikes Eolie Islands
An earthquake measuring 4.4 magnitude occurred at 5:37 this morning off the coast of the Aeolian Islands at a depth of 243 km. It was recorded by the operational room of the Ingv in Rome. The hypocenter was specifically off the coast between Panarea and Salina but due to the significant depth, it was not felt by the islanders. No damages to people or things have been reported.
