Magistracy: Luigi Lombardo appointed President of the Court of Appeal of Messina

The directorial committee of the Superior Council of the Judiciary has unanimously appointed Luigi Lombardo, the current section president of the Court of Cassation, as the new president of the Court of Appeal of Messina. Lombardo, a scholar of civil procedure and author of books and essays, has had a successful career in the judiciary, serving in various positions including as a judge and prosecutor. He has also been a member of the Supreme Court and has contributed to important judgments in civil law, civil procedural law, and disciplinary responsibility of judges.
