Low voter turnout in Caltanissetta runoff election with only 7.88% participation
The voter turnout in the runoff election for the mayor of Caltanissetta has dropped significantly, with only 7.88% of eligible voters casting their ballots by 12pm. This is a decrease of 13.44% compared to the first round, where 21.33% had voted by the same time. The candidates competing are center-right Walter Tesauro and center-left Annalisa Petitto.
