Licata Hospital: Theft in a Psychiatric Clinic – Thieves Forget Their Helmet

#Agrigento
A break-in occurred at the psychiatry and mental health clinic of San Giacomo d’Altopasso hospital in Licata. The staff reopened the department after two days of closure and found the iron entrance door forced open. Local police officers arrived at the scene. The exact extent of the damage has not yet been assessed, but several computers and monitors were stolen from the clinic. However, the thieves may have made a mistake that could incriminate them, as a helmet was found inside the department that apparently does not belong to any staff member. The military is also reviewing the closed-circuit television recordings inside the psychiatry clinic. There are no cameras outside the area. It is still unclear whether the theft took place yesterday, June 2nd, or on Thursday, as the medical pavilion remained closed for two days.
