Lampedusa hotspot emptied: only 3 migrants remain

The Lampedusa hotspot has been emptied: after the transfer of 101 migrants yesterday evening with the Paolo Veronese ferry, which arrived this morning in Porto Empedocle, only 3 guests remain in the structure in contrada Imbriacola. In recent days, the first reception pavilions had welcomed over 800 people. The prefecture’s well-established transfer system has allowed the hotspot to be emptied in a very short time.
