Iranian activist Parisa Nazari awarded Amnesty International Sicily prize

Parisa Nazari, an Iranian activist and pharmacist, will receive the Amnesty International Sicily 2023 Human Rights Defenders award. The award recognizes activists who risk their lives to defend human rights in their country or who, from afar, strive to keep attention on ongoing violations and repression in various parts of the world. In Iran, the fight for women’s rights and freedom continues after the death of Mahsa Amini. Parisa Nazari will receive the award on December 15th in Catania.
