Investigation into a cave, a gun, and a bullet found outside a businessman’s home

Grotte, un fucile e un proiettile davanti alla casa di un imprenditore: indagini

Intimidation in Grotte: a rifle and a bullet were found at the home of a businessman. The 65-year-old man opened the door of his house and discovered the weapon, a twelve-gauge rifle and a fired cartridge. The sixty-five-year-old businessman alerted the local carabinieri station and filed a report.

The military personnel who arrived on the scene seized the rifle and bullet and carried out all necessary investigations. The man was also questioned to determine if he had seen or heard anything suspicious in the days leading up to the incident. The Agrigento prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation.

The investigation has begun to try and reconstruct what happened: it will be necessary to understand who left the weapon and what the motivation behind it was.
