Explain in brief the following article:
Three measures of suspension of activities and sanctions totaling several thousand euros. This is the result of the surveillance activity that saw inspectors of the Inl Contingent in Sicily engaged in recent days, who checked several oil mills in the province of Agrigento.
In one oil mill, a worker was found working illegally out of a total of 2 workers present, and therefore a measure of suspension of entrepreneurial activity was adopted, for an amount of 2,500 euros. Fines of over 5,500 euros were also imposed and a maximum penalty for illegal work will be contested. In the third oil mill, 2 workers were found working illegally out of a total of 3 workers present, and it was found there was no risk assessment document, no establishment of a prevention and protection service, and no appointment of a responsible person. In addition to the suspension of entrepreneurial activity for illegal work and serious violations of health and safety in the workplace, amounting to 8,000 euros, prescriptions were issued for health and safety due to failure to produce a risk assessment document, failure to establish a prevention and protection service and appoint a responsible person, failure to provide health surveillance for workers, and failure to train/inform workers.
