Illegal landfill seized in Nisseno with asbestos and other hazardous waste

In Mussomeli, the military of the Guardia di Finanza seized an area of about 100,000 square meters in Campofranco, Nisseno, which was illegally used for waste disposal, including hazardous materials. The area contained piles of asbestos, construction waste, tires, and other harmful substances. Subsequent investigations with the assistance of the technical office of the Municipality of Campofranco identified the owners of the area and confirmed the lack of proper authorizations. The preventive seizure of the area was validated by the judge.
