From yesterday evening, February 22, the fire of a house in the municipality of Piedimonte Etneo, in Via Gaetano Puglisi, kept the firefighters from the Randazzo and Riposto detachments of the provincial command of Catania busy. Inside the burning apartment there was a large dog, a Maremma, which was rescued by the firefighters. An aerial ladder and a tanker were also sent to the scene from the central headquarters of the provincial command. Carabinieri from the local station command and medical personnel from the 118 service were also sent to the scene. There is no news of damage to people.
