Horror in Palermo, in Cruillas a dying dog found among the trash: “They may have shot him”

An new episode of violence against animals in Palermo. This time it happened in the Cruillas area, where a dog was found in agony, in a garbage dumpster. A woman raised the alarm: she heard the dog whimpering, it was trapped in a bag, under a pile of garbage. The dog was rescued and taken to a veterinary clinic for treatment, but his condition is serious: he has a brain hemorrhage and holes in his head, possibly from gunshot wounds.

The woman’s daughter, Valeria Galletti, shared the horror on social media, also sharing a photo of the poor dog, thrown alive in a sack amidst the garbage: “My mother called me while I was at work, her voice trembling. My mother doesn’t drive, so she asked for help from the people in her building and they rushed to free the dog from the many other bags thrown on top. They hurried to the clinic, the dog was in agony, with a brain hemorrhage and in a comatose state. He has holes in his head! Were they shot? He is currently hospitalized at the Primavera clinic in Palermo. I ask everyone, all my contacts, to pray and help this dog we have named Honey.”

Valeria has started a fundraiser to collect as much as possible to support the veterinary expenses for the dog, who, despite his very serious condition, has survived the night, rekindling hopes. Valeria updates users with a new post: “Honey survived the night. The doctors stopped the hemorrhages, but his condition is still very critical. I won’t give up. Many have told me to euthanize him. No! I want to give him at least 48 hours of hope. Please, help me help him. The little one must live and be loved.”
