HelloFly opens Palermo-Malta route in summer

HelloFly, a Maltese airline, further enriches the summer 2024 schedule with the Palermo-Malta connection. After a preview scheduled for April 25 and 28, starting from June 28 until the first week of October, the airports of Palermo and Malta will be connected twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with an additional third frequency on Mondays throughout the month of August. The service will be operated by a 78-seat DHC-8/Q400 aircraft in synergy with Maltese partner Luxwing. The promotional offer accompanying the launch of this new flight is set starting from 45 euros one way, taxes included. Passengers will be allowed to bring a carry-on bag weighing 8 kilograms, in addition to a small bag. “A new important route, between the Sicilian capital and the island of Malta – explains Teodosio Longo, founder and President of HelloFly – which, also thanks to the collaboration with Gesap and Luxwing, will further enhance our positioning as a regional carrier of reference in this area of the Mediterranean.” “It is another important event to meet the growing demand from the local users,” says Natale Chieppa, general manager of Gesap, the company managing Palermo’s Falcone Borsellino international airport. “HelloFly, in fact, will cover in the upcoming summer months a route that was not adequately covered before. The airline has also announced the possibility of continuing flights to Malta even in winter, which can make a difference.”
