Firefighters, forest rangers, and volunteer civil protection teams are working to extinguish several fires that have broken out in six municipalities in the province of Palermo: Villafrati, Belmonte Mezzagno, Castronovo di Sicilia, Bompietro, Chiusa Sclafani, and Marineo. The fires that broke out in the Ciammarita district in Trappeto and in Palazzo Adriano have been extinguished.
