Head-on collision in Favara, two injured: one man in critical condition

There was a dramatic accident on Agrigento Street in Favara. Two cars collided head-on, resulting in a severe impact. The vehicles involved were a Smart driven by a 17-year-old boy and a Mini Cooper driven by a 39-year-old man, who is an employee. The man was critically injured and taken to Sant’Elia hospital in Caltanissetta, where he underwent surgery for multiple injuries throughout his body. His prognosis is uncertain, and his condition is serious. On the other hand, the teenager is not in a life-threatening condition. The carabinieri of Favara and the local traffic police are investigating the incident and conducting surveys.
