Griffon found dead in the mountains of Cinisi
A griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) was found dead on Sunday, October 22nd, in the mountains of Cinisi, between Monte Pecoraro and Contrada “Sdirrubati.” The vulture was taken to the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Sicily for further investigation to determine the cause of death. The results of the autopsy will be communicated by the Izs Sicily in the coming days.
