Giro di Sicilia 2025: Stages, Teams, and Exciting News to be Revealed Tomorrow at Bologna Fair
The Veteran club Panormus will present the 2025 edition of the Giro di Sicilia at the Bologna Fair tomorrow morning, one of the most important in Europe in the field of historic motoring, at Pavilion 21 Asi-Village. The event, which commemorates the race wanted by the Florio in 1912 and born in conjunction with the “Targa”, with the aim of showing the drivers the beauties of our island, will be dedicated to the “Trofeo Taruffi” this year, to commemorate the 70 years since the legendary victory of Piero Taruffi. The event will be sponsored by the municipal tourism department, led by Alessandro Anello. In the Bologna stand will be present: the president of the Veteran club Panormus Antonino Auccello, the president of Asi, Alberto Scuro and Prisca Taruffi, daughter of the champion, ready to compete with the same Ferrari that brought her father to victory. The main themes of next year will be tourism and culture, with vintage cars coming from all over Europe, America, Argentina and Japan. Stages of the route will include, besides Palermo and Cefalù, the Grand Prix of Etna, Ortigia, Ragusa Ibla, the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento and the Park of Selinunte. There will also be twinning with Japan “Giro di Isola di Okinawa” and the Tripoli Grand Prix.
