Funeral director found with a gun, arrested by Dia in Catania

The owner of a funeral home, V. M., who has a criminal record, was arrested by the Dia of Catania for possession of a 9mm pistol with erased serial number, equipped with a chambered cartridge and related magazine, as well as a 380 ACP pistol with a silencer. Following the investigation, another criminal, T. S., was arrested for possession of a pistol with partially visible serial number, two magazines with 7.65mm ammunition, and one for a 9mm pistol. The seized material was found in a garage adjacent to his residence in San Nicolò. The arrested individuals were taken to the Piazza Lanza prison and the operation by the antimafia investigative department of Catania took place three days ago but was only made public today.
