From Tunisia to Pantelleria, the other route of migrants: 225 arrivals in two days.

225 migrants have landed on the island of Pantelleria in the last two days. Thanks to the excellent weather and sea conditions. The sea has been calm for days, with almost no wind. This has facilitated the arrival of rubber boats and small boats with Tunisian and Egyptian migrants.

All of them come from Tunisia, many are families with children. The small boats and rubber boats were reached at sea by the Coast Guard and Finance patrol boats that rescued them and escorted them to shore, to be welcomed at the Crisis Center of Arenella. From here they will be taken to Trapani.
