Forza Italia, Tajani aims for Schifani repeat as President of Region

“Regional elections in 2027? It’s too early. But it’s obvious that Renato Schifani will be our candidate for president of the region. The president has done very well, I don’t see why he shouldn’t be,” said the leader of Forza Italia, as well as deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs, Antonio Tajani, just before the start of the Forza Italia event at the Domina Zagarella hotel in Santa Flavia.

From Sicily, Tajani continued, “a precise signal has come,” it has always been a laboratory, “it has always anticipated what would happen in the rest of the country and what I am convinced will happen in the upcoming elections.”

“I thank Antonio Tajani for being here today. We have a strong and established relationship in many years of battles for Italy and abroad, always in unison, always under the guidance of a person who is not absent because he is always in the consciousness of many people who continue to vote for Forza Italia,” replied the president of the region, Renato Schifani, speaking from the convention stage. “Antonio, you are showing courage, wisdom and balance, even in difficult moments like the one we are going through,” Schifani added.
