Former mayor of Enna, Antonio Alvano, has passed away; city mourns his death

The former mayor of Enna, Antonio Alvano, passed away after a long illness at the age of 85. An engineer and head of a technical studio, he was elected mayor in 1994 and re-elected for a second term in 1998. He also held positions as councilor and vice president of the Province of Enna from 2010 to 2013.
