Former deputy mayor of Alcamo acquitted, did not lead two companies to bankruptcy
Former deputy mayor of Alcamo, Pasquale Perricone, has been acquitted by the Trapani court on charges of private interest in an executive procedure and related crimes. The investigation began about ten years ago, alleging that Perricone set up a “business committee” that led to the controlled bankruptcy of two companies: Cea and Nettuno. Recently, the judges of the Prevention Measures Section of the Trapani court rejected the request for special surveillance and confiscation of assets against the political figure, revoking the preventive seizure order that had affected companies linked to the former deputy mayor. The ruling has become final as the prosecution did not appeal.
