Fires in Palermo: Trash piles burning, also on A29

Despite the arrival of cold weather and the fact that it is December, there have been several fires in the province of Palermo. One fire broke out along the Palermo-Mazara del Vallo highway between Balestrate and Montelepre, causing some traffic disruption. Another fire occurred in Cinisi, near the Meli school. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames without any major issues and have begun their investigations. In addition, there have been ongoing fires involving piles of garbage in Calatafimi and via Paruta in Palermo, particularly in the Zen area. Recently, a house was threatened during a nighttime fire in the area. Firefighters have been working to extinguish these fires as well.
