The province of Messina in Sicily is facing an endless nightmare of wildfires. The flames have even reached the highway, leading to the closure of a section of the A20 highway. The fire rapidly spread towards the road due to strong winds. The firefighting team from Milazzo had to close the highway to facilitate their intervention, causing inevitable traffic delays. Additional fire personnel and a fire truck were also dispatched to the scene. To make matters worse, several other fires broke out in Piraino, Sant’Agata di Militello, and Mojo Alcantara. The situation remains critical, with numerous areas being affected by these wildfires.
