Fire in Messina, flames threaten village homes.

Still fear in Sicily for the fires, despite it being March, with out-of-season blazes. Problems in the countryside of Minissale, a neighborhood of Messina, in the highest and most rural part of the village. The flames threatened homes for several hours. Firefighters were on site, and eventually managed to extinguish the fire, securing the houses. More fire trucks were in service, shuttling back and forth for water supply.
