The regional secretary of Filca Cisl Sicilia expressed deep concern about possible cuts to infrastructure resources in Sicily, specifically for the Palermo – Agrigento road, the Catania metropolitan line, the 640 highway, and even the Palermo Catania highway. He also questioned President Schifani’s decision to block funding for the Stretto Bridge in favor of other new infrastructure projects. The secretary called for a meeting with the regional infrastructure assessor and the president of the region to clarify their intentions and to ensure the involvement of industry representatives in the decision-making process.
