Farewell to Cgil unionist Aurelio Massimo: A life devoted to defending workers’ rights
Aurelio Massimo, a 54-year-old Cgil unionist from Gela, has passed away after a battle with illness. His death has deeply shaken the entire union organization, to which he dedicated many years. He is remembered by many for his great social and political commitment in the Communist Party and in the union where he held a leadership position. The community has come together to support his wife and three children. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, May 15, at 11 am in the church of Sant’Antonio in Gela.
