European elections, last day for lists: Leoluca Orlando in first place for Avs

The deadline for submitting the lists for the 2024 European elections will expire tonight at 8pm. Parties must deposit them at the Courts of Appeal in Milan, Venice, Rome, Naples and Palermo, whose offices respectively serve the north-west, north-east, central, south and islands constituencies.

The Green Left Alliance has deposited its list for the Islands constituency (Sicily and Sardinia) for the European elections on 8 and 9 June at the Court of Appeal in Palermo. The top candidate is former mayor of Palermo Leoluca Orlando, followed by activist Ilaria Salis, currently detained in prison in Hungary. In third place is the former mayor of Riace Mimmo Lucano, followed by Cinzia Dato, Emanuele Barbara, Giuliana Fiertler, Francesco Muscau and Stefania Pagliazzo.
