Elena Ferraro, an entrepreneur from Castelvetrano, Sicily, who exposed requests for protection money from Mario Messina Denaro (cousin of a former mafia boss) organized a concert in Palermo to celebrate her favorite childhood idol, Vasco. Ferraro believes that Vasco’s songs have been the soundtrack to important moments in her life and that this concert will be just as memorable. She traveled throughout Sicily over the years to follow Vasco and couldn’t miss the opportunity to attend his concert in Palermo.
