Drug trafficking network dismantled in Ragusa, nine arrests.
A new operation by the carabinieri of Ragusa is currently underway to enforce a restrictive measure issued by the GIP of the Ibleo Court against nine individuals believed to be responsible for the possession and trafficking of large quantities of narcotics. Three of the suspects have been placed in pre-trial detention, four under house arrest, and the remaining two have been ordered to stay in a certain location. The investigation, carried out by the operational and patrol unit of the Ragusa company with the coordination of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Ragusa, has led to the dismantling of a thriving drug trafficking network with a turnover of over 30,000 euros.
