Drug bust in Gela, two young dealers arrested

The territorial department of the Carabinieri in Gela, with the support of the K-9 unit from Palermo, arrested two young men in flagrante delicto for drug trafficking. During a search in the house of a 22-year-old man, the Carabinieri found 5 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of marijuana, and 60 grams of hashish hidden in a door frame, as well as approximately 6,000 euros believed to be proceeds from drug dealing. A 16-year-old was also arrested for possession of 50 grams of hashish. The arrests were validated by the courts and the minor was placed under judicial restrictions while the adult was remanded in custody. Additionally, 8 people were reported for various offences including possession of offensive weapons, driving without a license, and possession of stolen copper cable.
