Disruption on the line between Brancaccio and Bagheria, delays on the Palermo-Messina route

Disruptions on the Palermo-Messina line today, April 25, due to a fault between the Palermo Brancaccio and Bagheria stations. Train circulation is slowed down, with trains departing from the Sicilian capital towards the city of the Straits and also Agrigento experiencing inevitable stops. Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, responsible for maintaining the line, is working to resolve the issue. Delays of up to 40 minutes are reported for the affected trains. In recent days, there have also been slowdowns and cancellations on the Palermo-Messina line, again due to electrical faults. Disruptions were particularly felt between the capital city and Sant’Agata di Militello, where significant delays were recorded and some services were canceled, especially in the early hours of the morning.
