Cyclist hit by car in Messina, transported to hospital

Another cyclist was hit by a car in Sicily. The accident took place on the state road 114, around 9:30 am today (December 8th). According to initial reports, the cyclist was riding near Mili Marina, a suburb of Messina about 10 kilometers from the city center, when, for reasons still being investigated, he was hit by a car. The driver promptly stopped to provide assistance, contacting emergency services. An ambulance arrived at the scene, and the medics provided initial care before transporting him to the emergency room for further evaluation. His condition is stable, but not serious. ANAS teams and police officers also arrived to investigate the accident and manage traffic. The man was taken to the hospital, and the initial prognosis, which was reserved, has since been released. Just a few days ago, another cyclist was involved in a road accident in Caltagirone, near the second roundabout on via Cristoforo Colombo, exiting the city.
