Comiso: Accomplice of the 23-year-old who attempted to assault a shopkeeper also arrested.

After the arrest of a 23-year-old foreigner who had attempted a sexual approach towards a young shopkeeper in Comiso, the police quickly identified another individual involved in the assault on the woman’s husband. The suspect is a 20-year-old Tunisian national who, although not present during the sexual violence, had entered the shop and committed aggravated home invasion and aggravated assault. Several witnesses cooperated with the police, and surveillance footage was reviewed. Based on this evidence, the court in Ragusa issued an arrest warrant for both individuals, who are now in custody. The foreigner has been taken to the prison in Ragusa.
