A devotee of the Madonna di Polsi in Aspromonte, 40-year-old Calabrian Bruno Cidoni, was among those arrested in the police operation in Catania called Devotion, during which a criminal organization dedicated to cocaine trafficking between Calabria and Sicily was dismantled. Cidoni had a small image of the Madonna on his cell phone cover, and on several occasions the couriers who were bringing cocaine from Calabria to Sicily had a Rosary with them.
