Chiesa della Concezione

The church was built in 1612 on a project by Grazio Nobili. Externally it is simple and reflects the style of the early Roman Baroque, with a facade divided horizontally and marked by pilasters, while inside, consisting of a single nave, it is very rich, a splendid Baroque masterpiece with decorations in polychrome marble that entirely cover the walls . The barrel ceiling has gilded stuccos and the fresco “The triumph of religious orders” by Olivio Sozzi, made around 1738. On the main altar there is the canvas with “The immaculate conception” by Pietro Novelli.
