Cerda murder verdict: Victim’s mother vents, “Killers must suffer in prison”

“There are children without a father. Murderers, they have studied it, now they must suffer in prison.” This is what Concetta Grispino, the mother of Carlo La Duca, said, who according to today’s verdict from the court of Palermo was killed by Pietro Ferrara and his ex-wife Luana Cammalleri. The defendant started crying after the verdict.

“I said from the very beginning that it was them – added the woman -, they pretended to be friends. No one will bring my son back to me, there are two children without a father. Why, why? My son had no enemies, everyone respected him, everyone. It’s been five years since I last saw him and I will never see him again.”
