Catania man arrested for assaulting partner and threatening father with scissors

Police officers from the Mobile Radio Unit of the Provincial Command of Catania arrested a 31-year-old man in flagrant for domestic abuse and personal injuries. The man, who had been reported by his partner in April for personal injuries and private violence and was under probation under social services, allegedly hit the woman again with slaps to the face for trivial reasons. His parents were also present during the incident. The 31-year-old threatened his father with a pair of scissors, who was about to call emergency services after failed attempts to calm him down. Both victims filed a complaint. The 31-year-old was arrested and taken to prison, as ordered by the judicial authority.
