Catania, un arresto per traffico di droga: deve scontare 3 anni e 6 mesi

The military of the Guardia di Finanza in Catania executed the definitive sentence of the Court of Appeal of Catania, sentencing Orazio Valentino Maggiore, 37 years old, to 4 years and 6 months of imprisonment for organized drug trafficking. Maggiore still has to serve 3 years and 6 months.

Investigations carried out by the economic and financial police unit in Catania revealed that between 2015 and 2016, Maggiore, along with six other individuals, had formed an association to commit drug trafficking and drug dealing crimes involving hashish and heroin. Maggiore, together with them, was responsible for transporting the drugs to Catania and subsequently selling them wholesale, identifying buyers as well.
