Carmen Consoli on tour in Sicily with Terra ca nun senti: tour dates of the singer

Terra ca nun senti, the concert-event with which Carmen Consoli paid homage to the Sicilian musical tradition last year at the Greek Theatre in Siracusa, returns to the stage and, after various international stops, will also return to her Sicily with two unmissable events.

On August 8th, Carmen Consoli will be in Milazzo at the Castello Theatre with a show organized by Puntoeacapo and Arts Promotion as part of the summer events season promoted by the Municipality of Milazzo.

On August 9th, the show will stop at the Urban Park Theatre in Finale di Pollina with an event organized by Puntoeacapo in collaboration with Aria di Eventi and the Municipality of Pollina as part of the “Aria di Eventi Summer Fest Pollina” festival.

Tickets for the two dates are available starting today, March 26th on www.puntoeacapo.uno (ticket sponsor ciaotickets) and in the usual circuits and sales points.

For residents of the Municipality of Pollina, a reduction in the ticket price is planned for the unnumbered bleacher seats. The purchase of the reduced ticket is only available at the Cefalù Mcafe sales point.

The concert setlist includes traditional Sicilian songs as well as songs by wonderful artists born in that land such as Franco Battiato, Rosa Balistreri, and Consoli herself; together they compose a grand narrative in notes of Sicily with its landscapes, stories, and characters, filtered through Carmen’s perspective and sensitivity.

On stage with her will be Gemino Calà on ethnic flutes, Valentina Ferraiuolo on frame drum and percussion, Marco Siniscalco on bass and double bass, Puccio Panettieri on drums, Adriano Murania on violin and acoustic guitar, and the inseparable Massimo Roccaforte on guitars and mandolin.

Terra ca nun senti will start its world tour from New York on May 22nd, then continue in the United States (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami), Canada (Montreal), Spain – where she will perform again at the prestigious La Mar de Músicas Festival in Cartagena – and Italy.

Among the tour dates, there will also be a unique event, a twin of the Syracuse concert, on June 8th at the Roman Amphitheatre in Pompeii (NA). Only on this date, Donatella Finocchiaro, an extraordinary actress, and Giovanni Impastato, Peppino’s brother, will be guests.
