A car caught fire on the Palermo-Mazara del Vallo highway in Sicily. Traffic congestion was reported in the entrance to the city due to the fire of a car stopped in the emergency lane on the A29, near the Vincenzo Cervello hospital. The driver was able to stop, pull over, and get out of the car before it caught fire. Two highway police patrols intervened to manage the traffic flow and allow the firefighters to operate safely. No injuries were reported.
