Road accident this morning (March 20) on Lungomare Dante Alighieri in Trapani. The accident involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a Seat Ibiza. Three people were injured: the motorcycle driver and the two occupants of the Seat. The dynamics of the accident are still unclear.

Police officers from the municipal police were on site for investigations. According to reports, the Yamaha was traveling along the Lungomare when it suddenly collided with the Seat Ibiza, carrying a married couple who were heading towards Erice. The motorcycle, on the other hand, was traveling in the opposite direction. The impact occurred near the cemetery.

From initial investigations, it appears that the car was turning left to go to a supermarket when the Yamaha approached. The impact was violent. The young man was thrown from the saddle and fell heavily on the asphalt a few meters from the accident. When the 118 emergency responders arrived, he complained of severe leg pain. The helmet he was wearing fortunately prevented more serious consequences.

The fire brigade also arrived on site to free the woman traveling in the car. Both individuals were transported to the emergency room at Sant’Antonio Abate Hospital. Municipal police officers intervened for investigations.
