Car fire damages methane network, house evacuated in Pozzallo

During the night, a fire destroyed two parked cars in Via Sigona, in Pozzallo, in the province of Ragusa.

The flames spread to the external methane pipeline, which was damaged causing a leak that infiltrated a residence at number 25: it was necessary to evacuate the apartment.
The residents were rescued by the emergency services and taken to the hospital, but they were immediately discharged after receiving initial treatment. A team of firefighters, assisted by workers from the methane maintenance company, are currently working on the situation.
